Here are a few answers to commonly asked questions:

Does the stationery come with envelopes?
Answer: Yes, all stationery, announcements, invitations, and thank you notes ship with blank white envelopes.  Some companies may offer colored envelopes for an additional cost.  No worries, you will have envelopes to ship your announcements!

What is the typical turn around time for announcements?
Answer: Most companies will ship out invitations within 3-5 business days.  If you order a proof, plan on extending the time by 1-2 days.  We are able to expedite many of the orders for an additional cost and we can upgrade the shipping if you need the announcement for a specific date.

Do I really need a proof?
Answer: We highly recommend that you order a proof of the announcement.  This will show you exactly how the announcement will look when it is printed.  The proof will make sure that all of the information is correct and that it is spelled right.  If you make an error on the announcement, most companies will reprint the announcement for a reduced rate.  If the company makes a mistake, they will reprint for free.  If you do not order a proof, we will e-mail or fax our order form for your approval.  We will not submit an order unless we have approval for all spelling.  

Can you help me with wording/grammar/spacing of the text?
Answer: We want your announcement to be perfect.  We will help you choose the right wording and make recommendations when necessary.  We will also let you know if we need to make changes to your order so the wording will fit best on the card.

What is the best way to order if I am still pregnant?
Answer: The Stork Store recommends that you fill out the full order form (minus the birth information) prior to having the baby.  This way, you can handle all of the details in advance and speed up the processing time.  Give a family member our information (516) 557-6645 and they can call in with the specifics once the baby is born. 

What if I don't know the gender of my baby?  How can I order?
Answer: We love surprises!  The best way to handle the biggest surprise is to fill out announcement information for both a boy and a girl.  This way, you are one step ahead and you will only have to call in with the birth information.

I don't see the announcement I want.  Do you carry other brands?
