The Stork Store is a family business that started in July of 2003. After the birth of our first son, my husband wanted to put a stork in the yard to welcome us home from the hospital. Unfortunately, he found the process of renting a sign to be difficult. He had a hard time finding a company that rented the storks in our area and he didn't have a lot of time to search. He was too busy rushing back and forth from the hospital.

Once we were settled in, the idea came for The Stork Store. We started the business with a focus on making it easy and convenient for new parents to rent beautiful lawn signs to announce the birth of their child.

After the positive response to the sign rentals, we expanded to include birth announcements and stationery. We have found that new parents, who are short on time, have enjoyed our style with a focus on convenience. Soon, our customers began to ask for personalized gifts. So we grew even bigger with a full line of gifts and room decorations for babies and children.
