How to Take a Great Baby Picture:
1) Lighting: When possible, use natural sunlight. If you take a picture indoors, use a window or open your front door.
2) Be Silly. Funny noises, sneezes, blinking, jumping and faces may encourage a smile.
3) Zoom in. Don’t be afraid to use the zoom. Make your child the center of the photograph.
4) Get down on her level. Try all different angles to capture your child.
5) Try black and white. It makes the images more poignant and bold.
6) Move around: Bring your camera everywhere. You never know when the perfect picture may happen.
7) Monthly growth. For the first year, take a monthly picture with the same stuffed animal and see your child grow.
8) Take lots and lots. If you have digital, take many pictures and pick out the best one or two images.
